Ben Cordwell Senior Golf Tournament, Steak Feed Set Friday

The Ben Cordwell Memorial Senior Golf League held its final regular season action on Friday at the St. Lawrence State Park course on Friday with close competition in all three flights.

Chuck Ladouceur and Tom Cobb tied for medalist honors atop A Flight at 38 and Tim Venrsey finished one stroke back at 39.

Overall Low Net honors went to Norm Garrelts and Bob Otis who both turned in smooth rounds of 31. Warren Putman led Flight B with a Low Gross 45 and Frank Perretta continued to set the pace in Flight C with a 44.

The 2019 season will conclude the with annual captain and crew tournament, steak feed and presentation of league prize money and awards from the 18-hole tournament. Tee off for the captain and crew tournament is set for 8 a.m.

Flight A

Low Gross: Chuck Ladouceur 38, Tom Cobb 38,Tim Vernsey 39

Low Net: Norm Garrelts 31, George Beaulieu 34, Greg Wall 34.

Flight B

Low Gross: Warren Putman 45, Joe Tracy 45, Gary Lalonde 47.

Low Net : Joe Donaleski 35, Dave Sandburg 36, Lee Young 37

Longest Putt : Dick Hawes 25’8” (Sr), Tim Vernsey 6’5”(Reg).

Closest to Pin: John McCullough 14’5” (Sr)

Flight C

Low Gross: Frank Perretta 44, Tom McCullough 46, Tim Cummings 49

Low Net: Bob Ott 31, Charles Matthews 34, Don Ramie 36

50-50: Joe Ott
