All power boat operators, regardless of age, must complete the course before 2025.
The certified instructors, who are Coast Guard Auxiliarists with years of experience as boaters on local waters, will teach boating safety and interact with students. Questions are answered before, during and after class. Students will be mailed the course textbook and the Federal and State rulebooks to keep as references. The certificate and card will be awarded after the student successfully completes a final exam. It can be replaced free of charge if lost or damaged. Students, faculty, staff, parents and community members may attend the course at $35.00 per person. Lisbon students qualify for a tuition free scholarship. There are family rates available.
