Chateaugay Downs OBGC In CYO Hoops

The Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club played its first away game of the Franklin CYO Basketball season and dropped a 57-29 decision to Chateaugay at St. Joseph's Academy. The OBGC squad will return to action on Saturday by hosting Smitty's at the Tom Luckie Sr. Court at 2 p.m.

Chateaugay 57, OBGC 29.

Matt Jarvis led the winners with 17 points 3 rebounds and three assists followed by Carter Tower and Cody Woodward both with 15 points. Isaiah Rivera had eight points and three rebounds, while Brady Magoon added two.

OBGC was led by Mark Tomford with 15 points and five rebounds followed by Michael Bice with six points, Tyler George with five, and Bryce Redmond with three.

St John Bosco 56 Maranatha 46.

The winners were led by Logan Hohol with 19 points, Lynden Webb with 10 points and three rebounds, and Jeremy Lamitie with nine points and three rebounds. Other scorers were Seth Gonia with eight points and a rebound, Josh Bova with six points and a rebound, Conner Chevrolet with five points and four rebounds, and Austen Saint  Denis with two points and two steals.

Maranatha was led by Eddie Russell with 17 points and eight rebounds followed by Jeremy LeClair with 13 points and eight rebounds while Ryan Avery tossed in seven points with three rebounds. Others scoring for Maranatha were Kyle Avery with three points, while Blake Grant, Blake Cook, and Marcus Langlois each scored two points.

Bangor 58, FBMM 30.

The winners were led by Caiden LaMay with 22 points and two steals followed by Dryden spinner with a double-double 16 points and 13 rebounds plus four steals and Connor Smith with 13 points 5 rebounds and three steals. Tyson Preve added three points with two rebounds while Scott McCray Jr had two points and six rebounds and Ricky Earle added two points.

Sage Sauve lead FBMM with eight points and five rebounds followed by Zendynn Poirier with seven points four rebounds and two assists. Garrett Osborn followed with six points, Skylar gravel had five points and two rebounds, and Jeb Shea had four points.

Citizen Advocates 50, Smitty's 26.

Toby vermette led the winners with 18 points and two steals followed by Alex Hanna with 15.6 rebounds and 2 steals and Dawson scarf with a double-double 12 points and 11 rebounds. Blake Rivers added four points with 11 rebounds and Dylan Warner had a Singleton. Braedyn Dietz hauled in six rebounds with one assist and one blocked shot.

Smitty's was led by Nate Martin with nine points and three rebounds, followed by Brady Sweet with eight points and two rebounds, Kelsen Preve with seven points and eight rebounds, and Lucas Saumier with two points and three rebounds.


Maranatha splinters topped Citizen Advocates 21 to 17. Marcus Langlois led the winners with 10 points, five steals, and three rebounds, followed by Kyle Avery with six points, six rebounds and three steals. Damian McCave had three points with five rebounds followed by Jacob Foster with two points, five rebounds and two steals.

Citizen Advocates was led by Terrell Mosher with six points and two rebounds followed by Tyler Tromblay with four points and one rebound. Dawson Warner added 3 while Bradley Smith and Rieley Smyth each added two.

St. John Bosco splinters defeated Smitty's 34 to 14. Logan LaRocque led the winners with 14 points four steals and two rebounds followed by Derek Bova with six points and six rebounds. Nathan DeLong and Konnor St. Mary each had four points and two rebounds followed by Brady Hopkinson and Austin Pearson with three points apiece.

Smitty's was led by Jason Davis with six points followed by Kenzie Russell with three while Miranda LaVirtue and Courtney Rockhill each scored two and Nathan McMannon had one.

Fischer, Bessette, Mulfowney, and McArdle  topped Chateaugay 26 to 17. Jordan Perry led the winners with eight points and two rebounds followed by Ben Poupore with six points and three steals and Cam Keating with four points and one rebound. Others scoring for FBMM were Garrett Osborn and Ethan LaVare with three apiece while Colt Warner added two points with three steals.

Chateaugay was led by Riley Dupuis with 17 points and two rebounds, while Raven Winters had three steals and a rebound.
