Clarkson was able to break out offensively and get a regulation win to end the season series with Quinnipiac. The 4-2 win gives the Knights (8-6-3) 17 league points and a share of first place with Quinnipiac.

Clarkson went down a goal when Ty Smilanic scored for the Bobcats (10-4-3) at 10:51 in the first. Clarkson bounced back quickly at 14:39 when Grant Cooper got his 8th of the season from Callin and Tsekos. The Knights took the lead for good when Michael Underwood scored at 17:06 of the first.

In the second period the Knights struck twice, at 2:17 Anthony Romano got a great feed from Jack Jacome to put the Knights up 3-1 and then on the 5x3 power play Anthony Callin scored to make it 4-1 after two.
