Clarkson Ladies Roll To 8-1 Victory Over SLU

Clarkson wasted no time getting on the scoreboard tonight against the Saints as Caitrin Lonergan took a feed from Gabrielle David and scored :13 seconds into the period to put the Knights up 1-0. The Saints would tie it on the power play by Kristen Guerriero within 34 seconds, but at 3:11 Avery Mitchell scored and put Clarkson ahead for good and the Knights rolled to an 8-1 ECAC Women's Hockey win.


Clarkson would get goals from Gabrielle David, Elizabeth Giguere, Brooke McQuigge, and both Stephanie Markowski & Emily Oosterveld would get their first career goals as Golden Knights.

Giguere would end up with 4 points on the night, Lonergan and Brooke McQuigge each had 3. An assist of note, goalie, Michelle Pasiechnyk got the second assist on Giguere's goal, when she directed the puck to Tia Stoddard, who fed Giguere for the goal.

In goal, Michelle Pasiechnyk started and faced 16 saves, allowing 1 goal in 33 minutes of action. Amanda Zegland finish the game and faced 11 shots, saving all of them.

Clarkson was 3 for 4 on the Power Play and allowed 1 goal for SLU on the Power Play on 4 chances.

Next up the Knights will travel to Hamden, CT to face Quinnipiac.
