Clutch Hitting, Pitching Keys Lisbon Recreation's 15U Win

A series of clutch two-out hits and a 3.1 inning hitless relief performance by Jayden Williams anchored a 9-6 victory over Malone by Lisbon Town Recreation in North Country 15U Baseball action on Wednesday.

Williams struck out five and walked one while closing the last 3.1 innings after relieving starter Trent Williams. Lisbon erased a 6-5 deficit and scored the final four runs in the game to lift its season record to 2-0.

Lucas Gravlin singled and drove in three runs, Lucca LaBella singled twice and scored two runs and Connor Flack stroked a two-run single to cap a five-run third inning. Jayden Williams singled and scored twice, Caleb Ghize singled and scored and Trent Williams singled. Connor Bell, Ian White and Tanner Fonda all scored runs.
