Colts, Bears Play Big Time Football In Mini Game Finals

Ogdensburg Pee Wee Football Association completed its season with the Mini Team championship game at OFA's multi-sport turf stadium on Sunday. The Colts won the championship over the Bears and reversed their only loss in the regular season.

"We proudly wear the blue today and someday players on all of the teams will wear the blue and white of OFA," said Colts' Coach Ryan Liscum.

Members of OFA Varsity Football team officiated and ran the chains for championship game and the consolation game between the Jets and the Raiders.

NYSCOPBA sponsored the championship game on the OFA turf field and the players of their families enjoyed the experience of having the game on the venue.

First year Pee Wee Football Commissioner Wes Schofel said thing went well throughout the season especially in the "Pink Days" games where the teams raised $3000 for the fight against breast cancer.

The Giants won the Big Team Championship. There was no playoff games for the Big Teams. Instead a travel team was formed and played a game against a team from Massena.

The Bears came up short with a strong effort against the Colts in the Mini Team Championship game of the Ogdensburg Pee Wee Football Association on Sunday. The coaches of the team are: Mike Ashley, Don Ledwith, Scott LaFlair, Josh Barkley and Andy Rheome and the players are: Blake Ashley, Jy, Carter Barkley, Ryder Charleton, Kammein Ellard, Regan LaFlair, Colt O'Brien, Cruz O'Brien, Craig Simmons, Connor Rheome, Harold Switzer, Isiah Warner, Breackson Brennan Wilkinson and Damien Winkle.
