Cuomo Says Worst Is Over If We Stay Smart
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo made a very encouragement announcement today.
“controlling the spread, the worst is over ... if we continue to be smart going forward," said Cuomo in his daily update on the coronova virus which has put the state in a lockdown mode.
Cuomo called the COVID-19 death tally a “horrific level of pain and grief and sorrow." pointing to death count which has topped 10,000 victims.”
He went to say that Sunday's death total was 671 as opposed to Saturday's 758 count.
He said the death toll for Sunday was 671, versus 758 on Saturday.
“But cautioned citizens to follow the social distancing guidelines
“You can turn those numbers on two or three days of reckless behaviors,” he said.
The Governor also said that he and fellow governors from Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Rhode Island have talked about plans to reopen their states.
