Dawson's Honored For Coors Liite Horseshoe Title

Dawson's Meat Cutting won 15 of 18 points in the final week to cap a very strong championship season in the Coors Lite Greenbelt Horseshoe League.

Dawson's finished with a 140-22 record and a 16-point lead over Ogdensburg Bowl. Reynolds Excavating took third at 112-50 in a season where the pitchers overcame several rainouts.

Dawson's was presented with the championship trophy on Saturday during the annual banquet and tournament at the Greenbelt Courts.

Members of the league played in a tournament and collected their prize money.

Final Standings: Dawson's Meat Cutting 140-22, Ogdensburg Bowl 124-38, Reynolds Excavating 112-50, Williams Classic Painting 104-58, S&H Electric 102-60, Gardner's Carpet 80-82, Howland Pump 56-106, Nig's 52-100, Woody's Ringers 40-122.
