Fishing Derby Aids Retired Correctional Officer

Ogdensburg Correctional Facility and Riverview Correctional Facility Correctional Officers recently held  a team fishing derby to benefit retired correctional officer Chris Dishaw who recently retired from Ogdensburg correctional. Officer Dishaw is now battling cancer.

From left to right in top photo are: tournament coordinators Steve Barr , Wes McDonald, DJ Bob O’Shea, Tim Barr, Chris Dishaw, Frank Barr, and NYSCOPBA union Steward Chris Showers. With all the entry fees, raffles, 50/50 drawings and donations from NYSCOPBA The tournament raised over $4000.

"As always we take care of our own" said a spokesman from NYSCOBA and organizers of the tournament.
