Gary & Aileen's Posts Forth Straight First Place At SP Golf

Posting a fourth straight first place finish Gary &Aileen's stretched its lead to 16 points with two weeks to play in the Men's Golf League at the St. Lawrence State Park. Gary & Aileen's stands first in the league standings with 40.5 points and The Place and ADR Telecom share second place at 56.

The final day of league play will be Wednesday Sept. 16.

Gary & Aileen's clinched first place with a round of -6 which featured 39s by Gary and Chris Guimond, a 42 by Greg Guimond and a 50 by Dick LaVigne. Sholette's Liquor Store, which was led by a medalist 36 by Jayden Kench, placed second on the week at -2.

Kench produced the lone birdie of the week on the 11th hole.

Mike Tooley also posted a 39 with the week's leaderboard rounded out by Jim Rogers and Jaime Alonzo at 42 and Phil Cosmo at 43.
