Gouverneur Caps Perfect NAC Season Beating Canton

CANTON - Capping a fourth straight perfect Northern Conference Football season, Gouverneur rushed past Canton 46-6 on Saturday.

Caleb Farr (5-83) led a committee of rushers who produced touchdowns on the day. Farr scored on runs of 10 of 56 yards and Cayden Stowell (7-41) scored on a six-yard run and returned an interceptions to the endzone.

Joseph Cummings (5-40) scored on runs of 26 and 11 yards and Mitchell Tyler found the endzone from three yards out.

Joe Cummings, Mitchell Shippee, Brock Coxs and Tyler Tupper were in on five tackles leading the Gouverneur defense.

Adam Calton and Zach VanBrocklin ran for the Canton touchdowns.

First Period: Farr (G) on 10 run (kick good), Stowell (G) on interception Return (Kick Good).

Second Period: Farr (G) on 56 run (kick good), Tyler (G) on 3 run (kick failed), Cummings (G) on 11 run (PAT) good.

Third: Stowell (G) on 6 run (kick good).

Fourth: Cummings (G) on 26 run, PAT good.
