Gouverneur, E-K, P-H Girls Enjoy Scrimmage At SUNY Canton

The Gouverneur Central Girls Soccer team recently hosted Parishville-Hopkinton and Edwards-Knox in preseason scrimmages at the SUNY Canton. "It was an amazing opportunity for all schools to get a chance to play on Turf since the three Schools don't have it," said Gouverneur Coach Mark Martin.

Following the scrimmages all three teams posed for photos at a statue of SUNY Canton's Hall of Fame Hockey Coach Terry Martin who is the the father of Gouverneur Coach Mark Martin. The teams and coaches also enjoyed an opportunity to meet Terry Martin whose led SUNY Canton to NJCAA National Championships.
