Grateful OBGC Completes Massive Food, Care Packages

On March 16th the The Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club staff begin delivering food and other essentials to some of its members and families. "We really didn’t know what we were doing or the impact it would have on the community, we just cleaned out our cupboards, art room and whatever else we thought might help," said a post on the OBGC Facebook Page.

Sixteen weeks later staff members of the club would deliver 75 bags of groceries making their last delivery today (Thursday). During that time with the help of the school district, generous donations and local restaurants the OBGC has delivered 12,613 lunches/dinners, 914 bags of groceries, 200 oral care packages and 243 essential packages.

"We appreciate the generosity of so many caring individuals who supported our efforts and a dedicated staff that continue to make a positive impact in the lives of many," said the OBGC Post.
