Guimond, Rogers Lead Ben Cordwell Senior Golf Action
Skillfully navigating his way to a 36 in the changing playing conditions at the St. Lawrence State Park, caused by the recent rains, Gary Guimond cruised to medalist honors in the Ben Cordwell Memorial Senior Golf League on Friday. Guimond birdied the 12th and 17th holes to anchor a one over par round.
Guimond finished with a three stroke lead over 39s by Tom Cobb and Chuck Ladouceur for Low Gross honors in Flight A while Joe Moore led Flight B with a 46 and Joe Meyer and Don Ramie finished as the Flight C honors at 50.
Jim Rogers led the way in Low Net with a 34 in Flight A and Tom McCullough and Bill Morley paced Flight B and Flight with 35s.
