Harrisville Girls Down Beaver River

A productive night from the foul line carried Harrisville to a 39-27 nonleague girls basketball win over Beaver River on Friday. Torie Moore went 9-14 from the line scoring a game-high 20 points and Harlie Moore went 6-8 scoring 12 points. Hannah LaPlatney and Kira Moore followed with four and three points.

Bryn Rice led Beaver River River with 11 points.

"We shot almost 70% from the foul line, and Torie Moore led us again with her tenacious rebounding also scored a game high 20. Harlie Moore is also consistently playing hard especially on defense scored 12," said Harrisville Coach Steve Roberts.

"Alana Luther stepped up big playing a lot of minutes as we had two girls out with the flu. We hope to continue our home and away with Beaver River, we enjoy playing other teams from the Frontier League."
