Hermon-DeKalb Goes To Remote Teaching Rest Of Week

FROM HERMON-DEKALB CENTRAL SCHOOL

A message from Mr. White:

Dear HDCS Community,

Today marks the first time this school year where the potential numbers of students and staff that could have been exposed was greater than our ability to cover absences with our current staff. This move to remote for the remainder of the week allows us to verify and contact all who may have been potentially exposed and work out plans for a partial reopening next week. We encourage all students to check their email and follow teachers instructions just like we have been practicing all year. Students should try and keep a regular schedule over the next several days to ensure they complete their work. Please contact Jamie McQuade or Mrs. Seymour for technical support issues during this time at 315 347-3442 or email jmcquade@hdcsk12.org or eseymour@hdcsk12.org

If you need food during this remote time please contact us on Facebook or by calling the school in the morning.

We know that this unexpected remote instruction is difficult to manage as a family but please keep in mind the safety of our students is our top priority. Please call the school if you have any questions or concerns. Mark White
