Heuvelton Girls Go Old School In Victory
Coach Gus Burns went "old school" and the Lady Bulldgos took the lesson to heart gaining their first NAC West Girls Soccer win with a 3-0 win at Harrisville on Thursday.
"We went to the formation that we used when In was in high school under George Mattison. It worked very well and now we will see if we can get a win over Morristown," said Coach Burns. DaKota Mouthorp scored a pair of goals for the Bulldogs and Molly Williams added a single goal.
Kaitlyn Sibley passed out an assist in the win and Rayna Cameron turned aside 4 saves in the shutout.
In one NAC East game Brushton-Moira downed Madrid-Waddington 3-0.
Abby Trimm, Emma Russell and Megan Ashley scored B-M goals with Teaghan Phalen and Anna Martin passing out assists.
