Howland Pump leads close race in SLSP Men's Golf League

Howland Pump emerged with a one-half point lead as a very wide open race developed in week eight of the Men's Golf League at the St. Lawrence State Park League.

Howland Pump (Chris Garno, Matt Beaulieu, Ben Matthews 47, Brek Murray 41) stands first with 44 points followed by Team VanHouse at 44.5, Hammerhockies at 45 and Frary's Funeral Home at 47.

The Place foursome of Mike Tooley 38, Mike Herzog 46, Phil Cosmo 43, Tom Hannan Jr. 40 led week eight with a -19 on a week when several teams went low.

The Hammerhockies (Ken Judd 42, Art Sciorra 41, Jim Chadwick 46, Noram Garrelts 46) followed at - 16 and Team HAHA (Pete Amo 47, Jack Amo 52, Gabe Halpin 46, Bob Halpin 53). posted a -11.

Under 40 Club: Mike Tooley 38, Gary Guimond 38.

Birdie Brigade: Andrew Testani 17, Jayden Kench 17, Chris Guimond 18, Greg Sholette 14, Mike Tooley 11.
