Kiwanis Honors City Recreation Department, Director

The Ogdensburg Kiwanis Club honored the Ogdensburg Recreation Department, director and staff for their outstanding efforts on behalf of the community and Ogdensburg's young people. "Ogdensburg is very lucky to have an outstanding recreation department that is there for our children," said John Pinkerton, who nominated the department for the award. Shown from left in front row: Jim Reagen, Angela Fee, Kiwanis President Christopher Pitcher, Katie Pitcher, Recreation Director Clerk Tia Beaulieu, former Kiwanis President Tim Davis, Bill Merna, Ken Kendall, Kevin Kendall, John Pinkerton, City Recreation Director Matt Curatolo, Bill Hosmer, Recreation Department employees Dale Donaldson and Tyler Moore. "A lot of people are not aware of all the things the department takes care of for our community. They handle maintenance for the baseball and soccer fields at the Kiwanis's Montroy Sports Complex, but they also take care of the Dobisky Visitors Center, Lockwood Arena, Peg LaVigne Field, the Ogdensburg Marina, the Greenbelt, Hamilton, Grove Street, New York Avenue, Monnett, Crescent and Morrissette Parks."
