Kiwanis Club Makes Major Donation To Chuck Kelly Park

The Ogdensburg Kiwanis Club has donated $5,000 to the Charles W. Kelly Memorial Park, challenging other organizations to match their gift in memory of the award winning newspaper publisher, editor and journalist. “Chuck Kelly fought for the North Country and Ogdensburg throughout his career. We want to make sure he’s remembered,” said former Ogdensburg Journal and Advance News Managing Editor Jim Reagen, who is a member of the Ogdensburg Kiwanis Club and the Chuck Kelly Memorial Park Committee.

“Chuck made sure the newspapers were a partner for civic and community organizations like our Kiwanis Club.”
