Kiwanis Prepared For Baseball/Softball Return

Kiwanis Baseball/Softball action will return to the Cliff Montroy Memorial Youth Athletic Facility beginning tonight weather permitting. The Kiwanis will feature two teams in the Fifth and Sixth Grade Baseball Divisions of the North Country Youth Baseball and Softball Program and two softball teams in the program.

One baseball game is scheduled for tonight at Montroy Park but on Wednesday Night the diamonds will be filled with T-Ball action and action from Coach-Pitch League which is sponsored by the Moose Lodge.

The Kiwanis is also offering an introduction To Softball program.

On Saturday the Kiwanis Club held a work party on the fields and the concession stand which will be open on a limited basis this season.

Among the participants were: Kiwanis President Chris Pitcher, Katie Pitcher, Katrina Anderson, Larry Mitchell, Kevin Kendall and Bill Merna.
