Ladouceur Leads SLSP Club Championship

Many time champion Chuck Ladouceur opened up a three-stroke lead over defending champion Jake VanHouse in the first round of the 2019 St. Lawrence State Park Golf Course Club Championship on Saturday.

Ladouceur, who won the latest of several titles in 2017, fashioned two rounds of 37 for a 74 and VanHouse went out a 38 and came in at 39 to finish with a 77.

Chris Guimond, who captured the championship in 2013 and 14, and Tom Cobb stand third at 79 and Jeff Hooper rounds out the top five at 80. Nick Cobb finished at 81 and Gary Guimond, Greg Hooper, Kelson Hooper, Matt Morley and John Shaver all stand at 83.

The 12-man field will play today in three foursomes beginning at 9 a.m.


9 a.m. - Ken Johnson (93), Gary Guimond (83), Greg Hooper (83), Kelson Hooper (83).

9:15 a.m. - Nick Cobb (81), Jeff Hooper (80), Tom Cobb (79), John Shaver 83.

930 a.m. - Chris Guimond 79, Matt Morley 83, Jake VanHouse (77), Chuck Ladouceur (74).
