Ladouceur, Vernsey, Donaleski Lead Ben Cordwell Tourney

Tim Vernsey forged a second round surge with an even round par round of 35, on Friday, but Chuck Ladouceur used a 38 to control the race for Flight A Low Gross honors in the 18-hole tournament of the Ben Cordwell Memorial Senior Golf League. Ladouceur finished with a two round total of 71 and Vernsey, who birdied the 14th and 17th hole on Friday, captured Low Net honors at 70 at the St. Lawrence State Park.

In Flight B Joe Ott used a 43 on Friday to take Low Gross honors at 89 and Joe Donaleski took Low Net honors at 70 after taking overall Low Net honors on Friday at 32. Vernsey and Donaleski shared Overall Low Net honors in the tournament.

In Flight C Butch Harvey took Low Gross honors with a 95 and Al Livingston was the Low Net leader at 71.

Also taking part in the fine shot-making of Friday's round Tom McCullough shared Low Net honors in Flight B with a 43 and Bob Ott and Don Ramie matched 47s to take Low Gross.
