LaRose, SHU At Binghampton On ESPN 3


The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team concludes its season-opening road swing with a 4 pm game at Binghamton on Saturday. The game is set to air on ESPN3. SHU will be playing for the first time in eight days, last taking the court at UConn last Friday. The game is the home opener for the Bearcats, who have played at Cornell, Michigan State and Columbia to open the season. Fans can watch the game on ESPN3.

SHU and Binghamton are meeting for the fifth time, with the Bearcats holding a 3-1 advantage in the series, including both Division I meetings. The squads last met in Binghamton, November 24, 2018, a 78-73 win for the host. The teams played at the Pitt Center on December 17, 2017, a 51-48 Binghamton win. The first two meetings came in the 1998-99 season, with Binghamton winning 81-69 at home on December 9 and the Pioneers winning at home on January 20, 86-58.
