Lisbon Central School Goes Remote Until Jan. 4

LISBON CENTRAL SCHOOL

We have been informed that a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. Due to multiple cases in our district, and a high number of staff who have been identified as potential contacts, we will pivot to remote instruction for all UPK-12 students with an anticipated return on January 4.

BOCES Northwest Tech students and out of district special education students will continue attending in person and transportation will be provided for those who need it.

We are working closely with the St. Lawrence County Department of Health to assist in their contact tracing procedure. We cannot share identifying information regarding the positive individual, but if you or your child were in contact with the positive individual, you will be contacted by the department of public health.

As COVID cases continue to spike in our area, please continue to be diligent with following the health and safety guidelines, including wearing a mask, social distancing, proper hygiene, and avoiding gatherings.

As a reminder, if you have concerns and would like to seek COVID-19 testing proactively for you or your child, there are testing sites available throughout the county. Contact information is included below.
