Lisbon Girls Down MCS For First West Win
MORRISTOWN - Defense and rebounding held the keys to victory as Lisbon visited Morristown for match of two NAC West Girls Basketball teams seeking their first division wins. Lisbon gained an advantage in both departments and Alexa McKee came through bigtime with 26 points as the Golden Knights gained a 35-23 victory.
"It is really tough to get a win in our division so you have to be happy with every one," said Lisbon Coach Dicky Marcellus.
"We needed a big scoring night from Alexa McKee and she really came through."
McKee (5 rebounds, 3 steals) scored all of Lisbon's 14 points in the second quarter and tallied eight in the fourth quarter after Morristown pulled within six points lead in the third quarter.

"We are making improvements but right now it is coming slow. We will just keep working at it."
