Lisbon Recreation Edges Massena In 15U Baseball
Lisbon Town Recreation used eight stolen bases to make the most of two hits in Monday's 15U Baseball game with Massena on Monday.
The Lisbon pitching combination of Tristan Simmons each allowed just one earned run 3.1 innings and combined on 11 strikeouts to emerge victorious in a 7-5 decision. The Lisbon hurlers allowed four hits while the Massena mound combination alllowed just two hits, struck ourt 11 and allowed just one earned run.
"We had more errors but we got the win," said Lisbon Coach Dave Gravlin after Lisbon Recreation climbed to 3-0 on the season.
Luca LaBella doubled and drove in two runs for Lisbon and Connor Bell singled and scored. Tristan Simmons stole three bases an d scored three times and Lucas Gravlin stole three bases and scored once. Cooper Rutherford and Ivan LaRock also scored.
