Lisbon Stays Unbeaten Beating Gouverneur

Gouverneur hosted the only NAC Boys Soccer game played on a day of heavy rain on Thursday.

Visiting Lisbon adjusted to the conditions very well scoring five second half goals to gain a 7-0 nonleague win over the Class B Wildcats who played every team in the NAC West as the bulk of their independent schedule.

Karter Jordan scored three goals as Lisbon (15-0) moved within a Senior Day win over Gouverneur on Tuesday of recording a perfect regular season.

"The field was in pretty good shape inspite of the rain and we did a good job of settling down.. We played good soccer in the second half," said Lisbon Coach Diky Marcellus.

Karter Jordan who will be honored as Lisbon's only senior on Tuesday scored two unassisted goals and converted once off an assist from Miles Gendebien. Jack LaRock scored two goals converting setups by Gendebien and Karter Jordan and Storm Walker and Teagan Jordan each scored unassisted goals.

Hayden McBath stopped two shots in the shutout and Sully Rumble finished with seven saves for Gouverneur.
