Mack's, Sipps Post Men's Softball Playoff Upsets

The Men's See-Way Slo-Pitch Softball League playoffs opened with the lower seeds advancing into the winners brackett on Tuesday..

Sixth seeded Mack's Tavern downed third seeded Ogdensburg Bowl 12-10 and eighth seeded Sipps outscored fourth seeded Howie's 31-26.

On Thursday Mack's will look for a second straight upset meeting Ogdensburg Bowl II and Sipps willdo likewise against the top-seeded Moose Lodge

Howie's and Ogdensburg Bowl moved into playback action on Saturday at 8:15 and 9:30 a.m. at Monnet Park where the playoffs will conclude with games all day to the final game or gbames beginning at 3:45 a.m.

Mack's 12 - Ogd Bowl 10: A five-run fourth inning keyed the Mack's victory which was led by Jarred Flener, Alex Boak and Jesse Murray with a homerun and a single, Harrison VanBuren with a homerun, a triple and a single and Mike Stoner and Mike LeClair with two doubles and a single.

Pat Cosmo, DaKota Brady and Lefty Arsenault all homered for Ogdensburg Bowl and Dylan Reed connected for a triple and a single.

Sipp's 31 - Howie's 26: Supp's scored 13 runs in the sixth inning to outlast Howie's sparked by Andrew LeBeau who crushed three homeruns and scored four runs. Tyler Brothers and Scott Bouchey also scored four runs. Andrew DeDekker scored five times and homered for Howie's and Eric Howe scored four times.


Thursday: 6 p.m. Bowl II vs Mack's, 7:15 p.m. - Sipp's vs Moose.

Saturday: 8:15 a.m. - Howie's vs Mack's-Bowl II loser, 9:30 a.m. - Ogd Bowl vs Sipps-Moose loser, games continue at 10:45 a.m., noon, 1:15 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.
