Madrid Canoe Regatta Set Aug. 15; Registration Online

.The 2020 MadridCanoe Regatta is a series of three races to be held August 15, 2020 on the Grasse River at Madrid Municipal Park, Madrid, NY.  The races include a recreational race of 3 miles, a C-1 canoe and K-1 kayak race of 6 miles, both held in the morning, followed by a C-2/K-2 race of 9 miles in the afternoon.

All races will be held downstream of the dam in Madrid. There are no portages

Online preregistration is required and will be limited to 50 paddlers! You must also download, print and sign a liability waiverand bring it with you on race day!

Camping is NOT allowed in the park this year and the community building/restrooms are closed. Social distancing is required while on shore!

When you SUBMIT the preregistration form you will receive a confirmation with a link to make the race registration payment via PayPal (using your PayPal account or a Credit Card). 

• One Race $10

• Two Races $15

There will be no awards or awards ceremony. Results will be broken out to all NYPRA classes. Race t-shirts will be provided to preregistered paddlers!
