Malone Hands Lisbon Recreation First 15U Baseball Loss

MALONE - Host Malone allowed just four hits in handing Lisbon Town Recreation its first 15U Baseball loss in a 10-7 decision on Monday night.

"We lost to a very good Malone ball club. The boys had a rough night in the field. We were plagued by 8 errors which resulted in 8 unearned runs. We have to be better than that. Malone's pitching staff had a very good game tonight. We also need to be better at the plate," said Lisbon Coach Lucas Smith.

Lucas Gravlin singled twice and drove in a run for Lisbon, Dave Pirie doubled and Cooper Rutherford singled. Colin Parmeter allowed just one earned run pitching three innings and relievers Tristan Simmons and Cooper Rutherford allowed just one earned run combing on three innings in relief.

T Carriero and J. Payne singled twice for Malone. K. Richards stroked an RBI single and B. Spaulding also singled.
