Moose Wins Title; Playoff Tournament Starts Tuesday

The Moose Lodge secured the regular season title at 11-5 and Ogdensburg Bowl and The Bowl II finished in a tie for second place at 10-5 in Tuesday's action from the Men's See-Way Slo-Pitch Softball League on Thursday.

The league playoffs will begin on Tuesday and the matchups will be announced on Friday.

The Moose received a forfeit from Mack's while Ogdensburg Bowl rode a massive rally over Sipps 28-19 and the Bowl II bested Howie's 17-9.

Ogd Bowl 28 - Sipps 19: A 10-run seventh inning and an 11-run eighth inning carried the winners who were led by: Pat Cosmo with a double and three singles, Collin Trathen with a homerun, two singles and a double, Brent Chevrier with a homerun and two singles, Chris Frary with a triple an two singles, Tommy Joanette with four singles, Bill Rafferty with a triple and a single, Jay Heaton with three doubles and a single, Jesse Joanette with three singles and DaKota Brady with a homerun and two singles.

Sipps answered with a triple and a single by Tyler Brothers, a triple from Joel King and Ryan Bouchey, and three singles by Josh Hunter and Chad TenEyck.

Bowl 17 - Howie's 9: Jared Barr and Kenny Stull lined a triple and three singles and Peyton Lalone connected for a triple and a double to lead the winners. John Denio and Matt Snodgrass singled three times. Andrew DeDekker rapped a homerun and twoi singles and Donny Edwards and Mike King each singled twice for Howie's.

League Final Standings: Moose Lodge 11-4, Ogdensburg Bowl 10-5 Bowl II 10-5, Howie's 6-10. Sipps 4-11, Mack's Tavern 4-11,

Tuesday, August 6: Jeff Park: 6pm - Mack’s (6) @ Ogdensburg Bowl (3), 7:15pm - Sips (5) @ Howie’s (4).

Thursday, August 8 Jeff Park: 6pm - Winner of 3vs6 @ Ogdensburg Bowl II (2)

7:15pm - Winner of 4vs5 @ Moose (1)

Saturday, August 10: All Day Playoff Tournament starting at 8:15am, with the Championship game starting at approximately 2:30pm.
