Morristown Town Parks Closed

Morristown Town Supervisor Frank Putman has ordered the closure of Town owned parks in the Hamlet of Morristown to include Chapman Park on Morris Street (including the basketball and tennis courts), and Bayside Park on Water Street, including the Boat Launch. These closures are effective April 10, 2020 until further notice.

Members of the public are urged to not enter these Town owned public spaces. The closures are in support of Governor Cuomo's executive order prohibiting the gathering of people in groups during the Corona Virus pandemic. Supervisor Putman urges all residents of the Town of Morristown to continue to follow social distancing practices, continue to self- isolate and to travel only when necessary in accordance with the St. Lawrence County Sheriff.
