N-N Boys, Massena Girls Stay Unbeaten On Ice

The Norwood-Norfolk Boys (3-0) and the Massena Girls (2-0) continued unbeaten starts to the Northern Conference Hockey season on Monday night.

N-N 10 - Potsdam 1: Bobby Voss scored three goals with one assist, Gavin Phillips delivered two goals and one assist and Brody VanBuren (2 assists), Brady Bothel, Riley Ashley (2 assists) and Hayden Bullock (2 assists) all scored single goals for the Icemen. Ben Averill passed out two assists and Thomas Cafarella made 22 saves in goal.

Chase Rozie made 38 saves for Potsdam who received its lone goal from John Duffy off an assister from Tyler Berkman.

Massena 5 - Salmon River 3: Brooke Terry completed a three-goal hat trick and Ainsley Cromie scored from Hannah Oakes as Massena broke a 3-3 tie in the third period. Hannah Chilton also scored for the Raiders and Audrey Hurlbutt added an assist.

Kaverhwenhawe White scored twice for SR and Kayleigh Cunningham scored one goal with one assist.
