NNY Bassmasters Club Opens Season On Saturday

The Northern New York Bassmasters Club will begin its 2020 Tournament Trail on Saturday with a tournament on Lake Champlain out of Chazy.

The tour will follow with a July 4 stop on Cranberry Lake, a July 11th stop at Tupper Lake, an Aug. 1 stop at Black Lake out of the NYS Boat Launch, a Sept. 5 stop on Lake Ontario out of Henderson Harbor, a Sept. 12 stop on the St. Lawrence River out of Morristown and a Sept. 26 stop on the St. Lawrence River out of Ogdensburg.

The Club Championship Tournament will be held on Oct. 10 and 11. The first day will be staged on the St. Lawrence River out of Waddington and the second day will be staged on Black Lake.

Special COVID-19 pandemic rules will be in effect at all times and Club Director Eric Tessmer has issued a detailed list of the guidelines which appear below.

The NNY Bassmasters II Federated Club where anglers compete on an individual basis will begin its season on June 27 with a tournament on Black Lake. Other stops are: July 5 on the St. Lawrence River out of Ogdensburg, Aug. 2 out of Butterfield Lake, Aug. 8 on the St. Lawrence River out of Morristown, Aug 30 on Lake Bonaparte and the Early Bird Tournamehnt for next season will be held on Oct. 17.
