NNY Bassmasters Stage Another Big Bass Bonanza At Morristown

MORRISTOWN - The Northern New York Bassmasters Club staged a second straight big bass bonanza in its second stop of the tournament trail at the Morristown Boat Launch on Saturday.

Matt Dobson and Peter Goslin (Peterbourgh Ontario) took first at- 26.80 lbs with a 6.08-lbs big fish as the club members continued to incessantly cast and pressure toward a landmark 30-pound bag.

Second place went to Brad Paradis & Robert Paradis (Ogdensburg) with a 24.81 lbs bass which included the Lunker of the day, a 6.,31-pound smallmouth.

Third place went Will Steinrotter & Guy Arnold (Potsdam) at 24.01 lbs and fourth place went to - Oliver Planty & Mitch Harriman (Tupper Lake) at 23.95 lbs.

Rounding out the top 10 were: Sharpe-McIntyre 23.75, Spellicy and Capella at 23.71, Gaultreurt and LaClair 23.65, Gibson-Gibson 23.17, Davis-Gilbert 23.17 and Robola-Robola 21.72.

In the Team of the Year race: Planty-Planty lead the way with 594 points followed by Sharpe-McIntrye 592, Capella-Spellicy 587, Davis-Gilbert 586, Robola-Robola 577, Paradis-Paradis 572 and Gibson-Gibson 565.


In a recent Federated Club Tournament at Black Lake Tyler Capella with 200 points followed by Doug Kirkbride 199, James Moore 198, Dick Garlow 197, Brad Paradis 196 and James Gibson 195.
