OBGC Continues Efforts To Feed Needy Families

The battle against the spread of the COVID-19 Virus appears to be making gains but is far from over. The Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club has pledged to help provide food to family until things are back to order.

The club has thanked the community several times for the way the community has stepped up with donations of food and money but the need goes on.

"Currently, the OBGC is closed for operating but we are working with the Ogdensburg City School District and are delivering 110 lunches daily to families. We have also delivered dinner and breakfast donated by local restaurants and additional food when we have it available to help support our members and their families. We can’t wait until our members are back at the club daily and we are hearing the sound of many children living life as they should. On behalf of our Board of Directors, Volunteers and Staff we would like to thank you all for all your efforts and support through this difficult time. The Boys and Girls Club slogan now is “Whatever it Takes” and we are so fortunate to live in a community that does “Whatever it Takes “ to help their youth," said Thomas Luckie- Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club- Executive on the club's facebook page.

The Law Office of Marcia LeMay recently donated to OBGC Executive Director Tom Luckie Jr. from a safe distance.
