The OFA Cross Country teams are looking for a competitive NAC season beginning with Tuesday's meet at Norwood-Norfolk and will field full teams at the varsity and modified level.

The OFA Boys will be led by two seniors in Cody Fifield and Brogan LaRose and will start the season with four runners and add a fifth at home meet on Oct. 1 when freshman James Martin moves up from the Modified team.

"He ran well in our scrimmage and at the Salmon River Invitational on Saturday," said OFA Coach ChRis McRoberts.

Juniors Mitchel McCarthy and Connor McRoberts also look to provide leadership for the Blue Devil boys who graduated several runners from last year's team include NAC MVP Nate McNally who has made a smooth transition to college running at Nazareth College.

The OFA Girls will be led by last season's team MVP in junior Lexi Beaulieu who will combine with four first-year varsity runners in freshmen Emma Murray and Brianna McRoberts, junior McKenzie Spicer and junior Riley Hough.

"This a very good group runners who are very coachable and we are looking forward to a very exciting season," said Coach McRoberts who sees excellent promise in the Boys and Girls Modified teams coached by Diane Jeneault.

"We will have two home meets for the first time in a few years. We have a new course on the Bridge and Port Authority grounds " said McRoberts.
