OFA Girls Sweep First Places In Swim Win

RUSSELL - Taking first place in all 11 races OFA gained its second NAC Girls Swimming victory of the season in a 143-47 decision at Edwards-Knox on Wednesday.

Individual wins came from Lizzy Lemke in the 200 Freestyle 2:45.82, Myah Myers in the 200 individual relay 2:36.32, Hannah Powers in the 50 Freestyle, Avery Kuhn in the 100 Butterfly 1:18.12and 100 Backstroke 1:27.42, Katherine Barkley in the 100 Freestyle 1:02.39 and 100 Backstroke 1:17:17 and Naveah Lockwood in the 500 Freestyle 6:59.87.

Combining on relay honors were: Katherine Barkley, Avery Kuhn, Myah Myers and Hannah Powers in 200 Medley Relay 2:18:1.1; Megan Reed, Mckenna Brooks, Madison Bleau and Lilly Mallette in the 200 Freestyle Relay 2:23.6 and Isabelle Powers, Hannah Powers, Myah Myers and Avery Kuhn in the 400 Freestyle Relay 4:39.48.

Rounding out 1-2 indivdual finishes were: Bailey Friot (200 Fs), Lilly Mallette (200 IM) and McKenna Brooks (500 Fs). Megan Reed, Lilly Mallette, Sophia Bob and Isabelle Powers in the 200 Medley Relay.

DEVILS RANKED

The Lady Devils have earned several places in the Section 10 Leaderboard.

Katherine Barkley stands sixth in the 100 Freestyle at 1:01.75 and 10th in the 100 Backstroke at 1:13.65. Myah Myers stands fifth in the 500 Freestyle at 6:07.03 and seventh in the 200 IM at 2:35.83, Avery Kuhn stands 10th in the 100 Butterfly at 1:14.23 and the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Avery Kuhn, Myah Myers, Hannah Powers and Katherine Barkley stands fifth at 4:19.57
