OFA JVs Post Solid Basketball Win Over Canton

Consistency on offense and defense combined to produce a steady scoring stream as OFA outscored Canton in all four quarters to gain a 58-40 NAC Central Division JV Basketball win on Tuesday night.

Kam Johnson scored eight points in the first quarter and seven in the fourth to finish with a game-high 18 points and Justice McIntyre dropped in 15 points.

"The boys did a great job forcing turnovers throughout the game. Our defense led to our offense and a lot of players did a good job stepping up and making big plays," said OFA Coach Dakota Brady.

"Seven different guys scored for us and it was nice to see some shots fall."

Shea Polniak tallied eight points for the Devils, Alex Mitchell added five and Andrew Loffler, Aiden LaFlair and Connor Graveline all finished with four.

Sam Roiger led Canton with 13 points and James Bailey tallied 10. Ryan Jones netted five and Luke Wentworth, Andrew Franklin and Layne Rayburn all added four.
