OFA Marching Band Ready For Busy Weekend

The OFA Marching Band will begin another whirlwind weekend today marching at the Water Sarfari Park today at Old Forge followed by parades at Sackets Harbor and Hammond on Saturday and the Seaway Festival Battle of the Competition on Sunday.

The Battle of the Bands will take place on Sunday at 7 p.m. at the OFA Turf Field Stadium.

The Marching Blue Devils will march at Water Sarfari at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. today and enjoy the park's cooling facilities in between. It will be a noncompetitive event.

On Saturday the Blue Devils marched in the French Fesitval Parade in Cape Vincent.

"It was a noncompetitive parade but the audience is always super appreciative, It is a nice time with good food and plenty for the students to see," said Marching Band Director Jon Cole.

The OFA Marching Band will march at Old Forge, Sackets Harbor and Hammond today and Saturday before entering the Seaway Festval Battle of the Bands on Sunday.
