OFA's Farrand Among 6 Section 10 All-State Volleyball Picks

OFA junior Emily Farrand has been honored as one of Section's 10 five selections on the New York Volleyball Coaches Association All-State contingent for the 2019 season.

Farrand, an outside hitter, was a First Team NAC West Division All-Star, and emerged as one of Coach Sue McLean's team leaders for the Blue Devils who won the NAC West Division and Section 10 Class B Championships.

Farrand was named to the Sixth Team of the Class B Selections where Salmon River's Rylie Gray made the Fifth Team. Other Section 10 All-State players honored as All-State were: Potsdam's Emily Smith, Massena's Delaney Durrant and Chateaugay's Alexis Monette.

SECTION 10 ALL STATE VOLLEYBALL SELECTIONS

Class B: Emily Farrand of OFA, a junior outside hitter, was named to the Sixth Team and Rylie Gray of Salmon River, a senior outside hitter, was named to the Fifth Team.

Class C: Potsdam's Emily Smith, a junior middle hitter, was named to the Fifth Team.

Class A: Delaney Durrant of Massena, a junior middle hitter, was named to the Sixth Team.

Class D: Alexis Monette, a junior setter, was named to the Sixth Team.
