OFA's Merz Commits to Felician University For Lacrosse

OFA senior Paige Merz has verbally committed to Felician University for autumn of 2021 on a scholarship for Women's Lacrosse and Academics. Mertz plans to a major in physical therapy at Felician University which is a Roman Catholic University located on campuses Rutherford and Lodi New Jersey.
Its athletic teams compete at the NCAA Division II level in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division II. Its fourteen member institutions are located in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Paige Merz has played Varsity Girls Lacrosse at OFA since her freshman year and as a sophomore earned Second Team All-Northern Conference honors. She was also a member of OFA's New York State Scholar-Athlete Girls Lacrosse Team contingent in 2019.
She and her Blue Devils teammates are hopeful that this spring's season will be held as scheduled. Last spring all high school sports were cancelled by the COVID-19 pandemic.
