Perretta's 41, Halpen's CTP Highlights Ben Cordwell Senior Golf

It's not hard to pick out Frank Perretta on a packed St. Lawrence State Park Golf Course on Friday mornings during play in the Ben Cordwell Memorial Senior Golf outings on Friday morning.

He's the only one wearing suspenders.

He stood out for a different reason in week 13 of the season on Friday as he shot a round of 41, one of the best ever logged in Flight C, and scored birdie on the eighth hole. Another highlight of the day was Jim Halpen winning the closest to the pin contest off the ninth hole by settling his tee short within 10-10 of the pin while completing his comeback from hip replacement surgery.

Overall medalist honors on the day when to Chuck Ladouceur with a 38 foillowed by Tim Vernsey at 39 and Tom Cobb on 40. Overall Low Net honors went to John Caufield with a 31 followed by Dave Sandburg at 32 and Bruce LaJoy and Bob Simpson at 33..
