N-N Boys, Potsdam Girls Lead Invitational

MALONE - The Norwood-Norfolk Boys and the Potsdam Girls claimed team honors in the Section 10 Cross Country Invitational which was hosted by Malone Central School on Tuesday.

Individual honors went to Dylan Perry of Malone in the Boys Varsity Race and Isabella Shatraw of Potsdam. Perry posted a 17:32 time followed by Cole Siebels of Gouverneur in 18:06 and Reobert Reed of Canton at 18:25.

In the Girls Varsity Race Isabella Shatraw of Potsdam led the field in 20:18 followed by Sharon Colbert of Norwood-Norfolk in 20:58.3 and Jocelyn Shatraw of Potsdam in 21:22.4.

OFA's top finisher on the day saw Lexi Beaulieu who took 10th in the Girls Race in 22:32.

Emma Murray and Brianna McRoberts ran 37th and 46th.

Cody Fifield (22:24) and Mitch McCarthy (22:28) led the Devil Boys in 42nd and 43rd place. Brogan LaRose followed in 60th place and Jimmy Martin and Conner McRoberts took 65th and 66th.

Tanner Smith led the OFA Modified runners in 16th place and Gouverneur's Hunter Mashaw was the race medalist in 9:53. Brandon Rivers took 17 for OFA and Branden Polniak placed 19th. Zoey Griffith of Gouverneur led the Modified Girls Race in 11:20 and the trio of Emma Crews, Evelyn Davis and Jessica Harman led the OFA entries in the 36th, 38th and 39th spots.
