Simpson's 37 Leads Ben Cordwell Senior Golf

Week 9

Bob Simpson earned medalist honors with a round of 37 on Friday at the St. Lawrence State Park course in week nine of the Ben Cordwell Memorial Senior Golf League.

Simpson posted a birdie on the 16th hole to edge out Tom Cobb's 38 for the low round of the day.

Bob Martin captained the Birdie Brigade with birdies on the 11th and 16th holes.

Overall Low Net honors were shared by Norm Garrelts, Warren Putman, Howard Quinn and Bruce LaJoy with rounds of 31.

In week eight action Ron Rickett crafted the medalist round with a 39 and Charles Matthews delivered the Low Net with a 29. Rickett bridied the fifth and eighth holes
