Slow But Sure Brings In Snow Bass

BY BRAD PARADIS

NationalProStaff

It was a chilly one Sunday. Water temps have dipped to 41 F. Cleared some snow at the launch to fit through and we took off early afternoon. We hit various depths from shallow to deep. They wanted the presentation so slow. Most times they would every so slightly tap it, but not take it. You would have to slowly drag and wait and then they would pick it up. Caught all of our fish on (3) baits. Dragging a Bayou Bug Jigs Da Cauchemar finesse jig, a berkley tube and caught one on the dropshot with a Gajo Baits Spirit Shad. The jig and the tube seemed to outshine the dropshot today. Anytime you can get out in these last moments of the season it's a bonus. less
