SLU's Britton, Mulhern Earn Liberty League Awards

VB: Britton Tabbed Performer of the Week

Senior Jenna Britton was named Liberty League Performer of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

Britton recorded a 157 assists, 44 digs, nine kills, nine service aces and six blocks as the Saints took second-place at the 2019 Red Dragon Classic last weekend.

Britton earned a spot on the All-Tournament team and the Saints finished the weekend 4-0, which included defeating Fredonia for the first time in program history.

St. Lawrence will co-host the North Country Invite with Clarkson this weekend, taking on Wheaton and D'Youville on Friday and Brockport and Franklin and Marshall on Saturday.

WSOC: Mulhern Named Offensive Performer of the Week

Junior Julia Mulhern was named Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

Mulhern scored both game-winning goals over the weekend, as the Saints topped Brockport and Johnson & Wales in the 2019 North Country Classic.

Mulhern recorded a header goal in the 88th minute to lift the Saints to a 2-1 win over the Golden Eagles on Friday and tallied a goal and an assist in the 4-0 win over the Wildcats on Saturday.

Hannah Arment also earned a spot on the weekly honor roll. 

St. Lawrence, now 2-0 on the season, will hit the road to take on SUNY Geneseo on Friday, September 6 at 3 p.m.
