SLU's Spadacccini Accepts Position At NE Sports Center

CANTON - St. Lawrence University has announced that its Director of Media Relations Beth Spadaccini was leaving SLU to accept a new challenge as the Social Media and Marketing Associate at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

Ms. Spadaccini is a graduate of Madrid-Waddington Central school where she was a standout student-athlete and graduated from SLU in 2011.

"Today we said farewell to Assistant Director of Athletic Media Relations Beth Spadaccini '11, who will be taking on a new challenge as the Social Media and Marketing Associate at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts," said SLU Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and Marketing Information Director Aaron Todd.

"After working for Wally Johnson in the sports information office as a student, she came back to St. Lawrence in January, 2014. She has worked tirelessly to promote our teams, coaches and student-athletes. She directed our social media efforts, designed many of the displays that grace our buildings, and helped do all the behind-the-scenes work for our marquee events, the Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and the Senior Student-Athlete Banquet. No one worked harder on game day than Beth. And no one enjoyed it more, either."

"While we're sad to see her go, we know that she's a Laurentian for Life and will be cheering for our Saints from afar (or from the stands whenever we're playing in Massachusetts). Please join us in wishing Beth well!," added Todd.
